John Schaaf

John is married and lives in Covington, Washington where he runs a Cylinder Head Service business from his home. He has been an automotive machinist for 15 years and is ASE certified.

John is also a musician and played the drums for the worship band at church. He is also in a band called Crimson Blues that plays at different prisons though out Western Washington.

In 1996 while attending Calvary Temple Church in Auburn, Rick Eibey talked to him about the idea of starting a Christian car club. With the blessing of their pastor they pursued the idea. In November they had there first planning meeting and in February of '97 they had their first informational club meeting. The Solid Rock Cruisers was formed and have been instrumental in starting several car shows in the south King County area. John is currently the Vice-President. There is also a Chapter in the Kelso/Longview area.

He has started another business/outreach as a DJ for car shows, providing music and information through out the event. John's Cartunes is the name and you can contact him at srcveep@msn.com.
